Walker was born May 18, 1932 in Weleetka, OK to Noble O. and Sarah Happy Walker. He passed from this life August 25, 2002 in Oklahoma City. Early in his life he became a member of the First Christian Church in Weleetka. Mr. Walker served his country in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge he was a Service Officer in the Disabled American Veterans and helped start Chapter 79 DAV at Del City. He and his wife of 4l years, Leota Walker, lived in Tulsa before moving to Moore in 1969. He has worked as a tax specialist and in accounting for approximately 40 years. He has been active in Boy Scouts of America and was a person who was always ready to help others. Surviving relatives include his wife, Leota, of the home, one son, Timothy E. Gaddis, one daughter, Melissa A. Walker, daughter-in law, Karla L. Gaddis; two brothers, Norman O. Walker and Howard H. Walker, three sisters, Barbara Dunn, Jinny Carroll, and Nancy Crawley. Also four grandchildren, Michael P., Joshua N., Jessica N. and Heather L. Gaddis; and great grandchild, Angel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Thurs., August 29, 2002 in the Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
