All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--OKC OK Wheeler Sr., Eddie Lee Eddie Lee Wheeler, Sr. was born on July 19, 1950 in Madill, OK to Leon and Hazel Wheeler. He was tragically taken from this life on August 28, 2005, to be with his Lord and Savior. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Leon Wheeler, both sets of grandparents and in-laws, A.J. and Ruth Woolf as well as several aunts and uncles. The oldest of three boys, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 24 years, Peggy, children Erin LeeAnn and Eddie Lee, Jr., his mother, Hazel Wheeler, brothers Donnie and his children Heather and Dustin, Bobbie and his wife Debbie, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, three dogs, five cats, a bird, and some very special great nieces and nephews whom he adored. He loved being a 'daddy" to his children and pets. Eddie was employed by Unisource until their closing in June of this year. A lifelong Southern Baptist, Eddie taught preschoolers in Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Bethany for many years. Currently he was a member of Council Road Baptist Church. Eddie dearly loved his family-'Big Eddie" or 'Teddy Bear" to all. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1968. Eddie was an avid Nascar and drag-racing fan, watching on TV as well as attending local events. He was dearly loved will be greatly missed by all. Services 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Council Road Baptist Church, 2900 N. Council, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
