Allene Wright

CLOVIS, N.M. - Allene Wright, 72, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at Edmond, 
Okla.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the 16th and Pile Church of Christ 
with Bret McCasland and Robert Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in 
Mission Garden of Memories by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wright was born in Clovis. She married Thomas Milton "Shorty" Wright 
in 1948 at Clovis. For a brief time, she lived in La Junta, Colo., 
Amarillo and Slaton, Texas. She moved back to Clovis until 1997, when she 
moved to Edmond. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ and of Alpha Theta.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennie Wright of Lubbock; three sons, Tom 
Wright of Clovis and Todd Wright and Jay Wright, both of Edmond; a sister, 
B. Lyman of Albuquerque; and eight grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the New Mexico Children's Home, 1356 
New Mexico 236, Portales, N.M. 88130-9411.

The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home.
