Born in Okemah, OK May 8, 1942, he graduated in 1964, with a BSChE from Oklahoma State University. Following one year of employment with Monsanto Corporation in Alvin, Texas, he was employed by the Conoco Refining Corporation and spent two years at their refineries located in Ponca City, OK and Lake Charles, LA. In 1969, he joined Kerr McGee Refining Corporation at the Wynnewood, OK Refinery as Senior Process Engineer. During his twenty-six year career with Kerr McGee he also held positions of Senior Project Manager and Refinery Manager at the Wynnewood Refinery, Director of Planning and Vice President of Refining at the Oklahoma City corporate office; he went on to become Executive Vice President/ Chief Operating Officer of Kerr McGee Refining Corporation located in Houston, Texas. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors of Halterman Inc. In 1995, after assisting with the sale of the Kerr McGee Corporation's Refining Division, he was employed as Chief Operating Officer of Greene and Associates, Inc., in Dallas, TX. In 1999, he retired to Edmond, OK. He was a 30 year member of National Petroleum Refiners Association holding a position on the Manufacturing Committee, American Petroleum Institute holding a position of the Operating Committee, and a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Warn had the privilege of being a charter member of Leadership of Oklahoma and owner of Warn True Value Hardware in Okemah, OK. He was a member of Cathedral of the Hills in Edmond where he served as Deacon. Warn, was preceded in death by his loving parents Rev. Jodie and Gladys Warn. His survivors include: wife, Sharon of forty-five years and three sons Darren Warn, wife Kathy and children Kris, Acea and Megan of Edmond, OK; Craig Warn, wife Kendra and children Stephanie and Alec, Edmond OK; and Brett Warn, wife Ann and children Brittany and Pierce of Lawton, OK; brother, Lance Warn and wife Jane of Okemah, OK; sisters, Deborah and husband Jerry Stacy, Seminole, OK; Theresa and husband Rick Beasley of Branson, MO; and Kathy and husband Ronnie Wilbourn of Wewoka, OK; uncle Aubrey Campbell of Cucamonga, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at l0am Wednesday, March 5 at Cathedral of the Hills Church, 1600 E. 15th Street, Edmond, OK. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Okemah, OK. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond. Matthews Funeral Home Locally Owned 601 S.
