He was born in September 1929 in Oklahoma City, Okla., and has been a county resident for the past 70 years. Johnny had worked and retired from Pacific Gas & Electric as a truck driver for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman, camper and reader who enjoyed sharing this part of his life with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Johnny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary; daughters Cindy and Joyce; sons Johnny, Ernest, Gary, Michael and Greg; sisters Lily, Lena, Donna and Sharon; brothers Gene and Kenneth; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Johnny Ray Wallravin, 77, of Santa Margarita, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at the Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero. A reception will follow at Santa Margarita Park.
