Watson of Oklahoma City, OK arrived in this world on August 26, 1947. He was the first of Clifford and Betty Watson's four children. He threw newspapers in his neighborhood as a boy and was well known and loved throughout. He overcame many obstacles young in life, including being in a wheelchair during his high school years. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University with an engineering degree. He had three children to raise and took a job in 1973 for the United States Postal Service. He fought hard this past year and a half and fought strong. In the end, although still strong in spirit, his body became weak and frail until finally he could take no more. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Wynne, his children, Jon Russell Watson of Edmond, OK, Brian Matthew Watson, of OKC, OK and Lori Nicole Watson of Albuquerque, NM, three grandsons, Devin Mikel Watson, Kaiden Ryle Watson and Ashton Zane Watson of OKC, his mother Betty D. Watson of OKC, siblings Neal Watson of OKC, Debbie Nusz of OKC and Larry Watson of Moore, nephews Mark Watson, Jason Nusz, Josh Nusz, niece Jennifer Watson and many other relatives, friends and Postal family. Services will be held in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2003 with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
