PAUL H. WEST FORMER CITY MAN, IS DEAD
Former A. and M. Student Was Capital Lawyer
The body of Paul H. West, 32 year-old attorney of Washington, D.C.,
a graduate of Central High School and a member of the 1926 class at
Oklahoma A and M college, will be brought back to Oklahoma City for
services and burial, his parents Mr and Mrs George W. West, 1944
Northwest Twentieth street, said Tuesday.  Arrangements will be made
by the Hahn funeral home.
He died suddenly Monday of a heart ailment.  He is survived by his
wife, the former Marjorie Hurt of Washington, and their 16-month-old
daughter, Sharlie; two brothers, Robert of Tulsa and Raymond, 3319
North Shartel avenue, and a sister, Elizabeth, who lives with her
parents.
After graduating from the college at Stillwater, West was employed as
a civil engineer by the interstate commerce commission in Washington,
studying law at night.  A year ago he opened his own law office.
