Irene Youngblood

WAXAHACHIE - Irene Youngblood, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1997.

Committal services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Waxahachie City 
Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. in Boze-Mitchell Funeral 
Home Chapel with the Rev. Gus Guthrie officiating.

Mrs. Youngblood was born in Del City, Okla., and had been a longtime 
resident of Ellis County. She attended Waxahachie schools.

She married Joe Fane Youngblood in 1928. He died in 1993.

Mrs. Youngblood was a member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church for 
many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Jane Parker of Dallas; two sons, Joe W. 
Youngblood of Waxahachie and Tom Youngblood of Amarillo; a brother, 
Charles Wakefield of Irving; six grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. 
today.
