West, 1944 Northwest Twentieth street, and Roy Lee Brown, son of Mrs R.L. Brown, Okarche, took place in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Rev Hugh B. Fouke, pastor of the church, read the service following an organ prelude by Floyd Kimes Russell. He also accompanied Irving Williams, Norman, who sang, "I Love You Truly" and Bach's "Ave Maria." Mrs Raymond West, attendant for the bride, wore a pastel pink crepe with brown accessories and violet corsage. Mr West, brother of the bride, was best man. The bride wore a three-piece costume suit in moss green woolen. Her frock had a finger-tip length jacket trimmed in mink and her top was fitted with a flaring skirt. A brown sailor hat, trimmed in ribbons matching her suit, had a brown veil and her flowers were a corsage of lillies of the valley. She carried a white prayer book. Ushers were Donald Bruner, a cousin of the bride, and Tom Keller, Okarche. The altar was banked with palms and baskets of pink gladioli while white chrysanthemums and sweet peas were used about the West home, where a reception was given following the ceremony. The bridegrooms mother, wore a navy tailored suit and corsage of gardenias and Mrs West selected a pastel blue crepe frock, blue accessories and had a corsage of sweetheart roses. Assisting Mr and Mrs West in the courtesies were Mrs L.M. Lingenfelter and Mrs C.L. West, aunts of the bride, and Mrs John L. Dyer. The bride's table was centered by a three-tiered cake, which she cut and served assisted by Miss Donnabelle Myers, a cousin of the bridegroom. Other assistants were Mrs C A Bruner and Mrs A P Mitchell, aunts of the bride, and a cousin, Miss Marcelle West; Miss Doris Turner, Miss Priscilla Walsh, Miss Frances Neal and Miss Marion Woods, Eufaula. Out of town guests were Miss Woods and her sister, Miss Elizabeth Woods, Eufaula; Mr and Mrs Robert West, Tulsa; Mr and Mrs R V Brown, Verden; Mrs and Mrs B C Pippin, Kingfisher, and Miss Mae Mitchell, Okarche. Mrs Brown is a graduate of Classen highschool and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she was a Phi Mu. Mr Brown attended highschool in Okarche and will be graduated from the school of chemical engineering at the state university this semester. He is a member of Alpha Chi Sigma, honorary chemical fraternity, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
