Ima L. Aldridge  



Ima L. Aldridge, 94, longtime Beggs resident passed away Saturday, February 22, 2003 at her home. 

She was born January 1, 1909 in Shirley, Arkansas to Thomas and Mary J. (Blackburn) Stanley. She later married Jess Aldridge. 

Mrs. Aldridge loved to garden and work with her flowers. She was a member of the Flower Club and the Home Extension.

 She loved her church and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beggs. 



Those that precede her in death are her parents, her husband Jess Aldridge and three brothers Wilson Stanley, Leonard Stanley and 

Jessie Stanley, a son in-law Don Armer. 



Survivors include Nine children Jess Aldridge and wife Shirley, Frank Aldridge and wife Clara, Blaine Aldridge

 and wife Neva, Rose Chambers and husband Wayne, Orland Aldridge and wife Darlene, Lelahla Armer, Lena Henson and husband Buz, 

 Jean Hisle and husband Bill, Leanna Farr and husband George. 

 There are Twenty-Five grandchildren, Thirty-Seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.



Funeral Services will be Monday, February 24, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Beggs 

with the Reverend Clint Sinclair officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction 

of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs.



Casketbearers will be her grandsons.
