She was born November l0, 1913 in Dewar, Oklahoma to Alva Edison and Jeanette (Standish) Adamson. She married Jess Anderson on August 3, 1929 in Paris, Arkansas. She worked as a cook for the Hartshorne Elementary School until her retirement. She was a member of First Christian Church in Hartshorne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, 3 sons, Jesse, Freddie Joe and Jerry Mac Anderson; 2 sisters, Mary Frances Wiginton, Flora Maddux, brothers, Claude, John, George, Gene and Lloyd Adamson Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Joyce Anderson of Eufaula, OK; two daughters and son-in-law, Frances & Bob Nick of Okmulgee, OK and Ruth Ellen Moody of Hartshorne, OK; grandchildren; Kathy Anderson McGilberry, Dr. Jerry Nick, Joe Nick, Danny Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Sheri Neighbors, Kerrie Pink & Dale Moody; 18 great-grandchildren; and one brother Bill R. Adamson of Redding, California. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 16 at the Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with Dr. Rudia Haliburton officiating. Interment will be in the Sulphur Cemetery at Hartshorne under direction of the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
