She was born Tuesday, December 16, 1958 to Benjamin and Peggy (Purdy) Wade in Eden, North Carolina. She was a member of the Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother: Terry Lynn Ray; one sister: Jodi Wade Booth and grandparents: Benjamin F. “Binky” Wade and Virginia W. Wade. Survivors include: Father: Benjamin “Butch” Wade and step-mother: Peggy Hunt Wade both of Cascade, VA; step-father: Earl Ray of Beggs, Oklahoma; one daughter: Angela Diane Smith of Eden, NC; two brothers: Christopher Lee Wade of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Dwayne Eugene Ray of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister: Candy Wade Lewis of Cascade, VA; one granddaughter: Savannah Grace Kallam of Eden, NC; grandfather: William Cosby Purdy of Eden, NC. Services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee, Oklahoma with Reverend Robert Yandell officaiting. Burial will be held at a later time at the Hunt Family Cemetery in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Services were under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
