All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenwood Memorial Park--Fort Worth TX Brookshier, Glenna Beatrice Glenna Beatrice Brookshier, 79, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with her beloved Jesus on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Ridglea United Methodist Church, Fort Worth. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: Ridglea United Methodist Church Music Program, 6036 Lock Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76116. Glenna was born Glenna Beatrice O'Bannon on July 14, 1926, in Okmulgee, Okla. She met her husband, Pete Brookshier, in 1941, and they were married on her birthday in 1944. Pete and Glenna were married for 61 years. Glenna will also be remembered for her amazing musical talents in singing and playing piano. Glenna was a lead soprano for many years in the Ridglea United Methodist Church choir and later was the church pianist. Survivors: Husband, Pete Brookshier; children, Lisa Brookshier and Todd Brookshier and wife, Debbie; granddaughter, Sherry Ikerd and husband, Michael; grandsons, Joshua, Matthew and Michael Brookshier; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Nattalee and Ella Ikerd; sister, Betty Phillip and husband, Tom, of Hemet, Calif.; and her aunt, Margaret Williams of Fort Worth.
