Montgomery Veterans Hospital in Muskogee. He was born Wednesday, October 6, 1943 to Russell and Elizabeth (French) Burbank in Tekonsha, Michigan. Bill served in the United States Army as a medic during Vietnam and was honored with the Purple Heart along with several other metals. He loved to do flea markets and had “Bill’s Little Corner” in downtown Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Elizabeth Burbank; three brothers: Ralph, Norm and Benny Burbank. Survivors include: one daughter: Terri Burbank of Morris; two sons: Bill Burbank and wife, Alene and Chris Burbank all of Okmulgee; three brothers: Jack Burbank and wife, Marsha; Larry Burbank and wife, Carol all of Michigan and Gary Burbank of Tennessee; four grandchildren: Stacy (Burbank) Cheney and husband, Joshua of Morris; Jason Mitchell of Twin Hill; Eric and Ashley Burbank of Okmulgee. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Burial will follow the service under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Military Honors will be provided by the V.F. W. Post 1189 of Okmulgee and V.F.W. Post 539 of Henryetta. Viewing will be Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home Chapel.
