Casey, 88, a resident of Okmulgee, died Friday, July 14, 2006 in Okmulgee. He was born on Thursday, December 27, 1917 to Jasper Boyd and Florence Marie (Reed) Casey in Okemah, Oklahoma. On February 13, 1976, he married Gloria Mae Webb in Miami, Oklahoma. He served in the United State Army during WWII and attended the Lakeview Church at the Okmulgee Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Florence Casey; daughter: Francis Potter; two granddaughters: Karen Barrier and Elisha Been; three brothers: Alva, Lester “Speedy”, and Conreid Casey; two sisters: Unice Claybourn and Theone Greenhaw. Survivors include: wife, Mae Casey of the home; four daughters: Lyne West of Okmulgee; Lillian Howe and husband, Jackie of Bristow; Francene Sheppard of Lead Hill, AR and Carol Dwyer of Wake Forest, N.C.; two sons: Dallas Plumb and wife, Robynne and Vic Webb and wife, Bunnie all of Sapulpa; one brother: Arlie Casey of Tulsa; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee with Reverend Terry Fox and Reverend Tommy Laxton officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Potter, Michael Larocco, Randy West, Clifford West, Gary Potter and Eric West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kelley Chapel.
