He was born Friday, October 6, 1944 to Mose C. and Vernon Lucile (Bishop) Clark in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. On June 4, 1965, he married Nell H. Helms in Preston, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1971. He was an employee of OSU-Okmulgee and was an active fisherman. Richard was a devoted husband and father and a loving PaPa. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Vernon Casey. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nell Casey of the home; one son: Rich Casey, Jr. and wife, Mandy of Okmulgee and one daughter: Becky Casey Alexander and husband, James of Okmulgee; one sister: Janice Duke of Wilburton; four grandchildren: Peyton Elizabeth and Robert “Cubby” Clark Alexander; Richard “C.B.” Garland Casey, III and Sammy Thomas Casey; three aunts: Juanita Pipkins, O’Dessa Hale and Elizabeth Mitchell. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Jim Waller officiating. Burial will follow the service under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee.
