	Harold Jay Dill, 89, a resident of Morris, died 

Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Okmulgee. He was born on 

Wednesday, February 14, 1917 to David Arthur and Eva 

Mae (Melson) Dill in Morris, Oklahoma. Harold retired 

from farming and cattle at the age of 78 years old. He loved 

to go camping and fishing and loved gardening. 

	

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 68 years, 

Evelyn Dill; son: Gerald Wayne Dill, grandson: Paul Max 

Due, Jr; two brothers: William (Bill) Dill and June Dill; two 

sisters: Thelma Thames and Isol Willis. 

      

      Survivors include: four sons: Richard David Dill and wife, 

Betty of Laredo, TX; Bobby Dale Dill and wife, Dana of 

Morris; Don Clifford Dill and wife, Becky of Cushing and 

Michael Roy Dill and wife, Bobbie of Morris; three daughters: 

Wanda Lee Due of Sapulpa; Janice Marie Curtis and husband, 

Russell of Bartlesville and Tammy Sue Aston and husband, 

Clint of Morris; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great 

grandchildren. 

	

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2006 

at the Morris Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Ward officiating. Burial 

will follow the service under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley 

Funeral Home of Okmulgee. 

	

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the 

Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery at 23600 Liberty Road  Morris, 

Ok 74445.
