NORMAN KENNETH DRAKE

 

Norman Kenneth Dranke, 81, a henryetta resident, died Friday, October 13, 2000 in Tulsa.

 

He was born July 1, 1919 in Sapulpa, to Norman and Edith (Ernst) Drake. He married Jewell Anson in Arkansas on March 8, 1989 and moved to Henryetta.  He also served in the United States Navy.

 

He is survived by his wife,  Jewell, of the home, two sons, Ronnie Drake  and Dean Hazelton;  seven daughters,  Edith Drake,  Jan Ozorowsky,  June Stubbs,  Barbrie Argo,  Kathy Artussee,  Donna Williams and April Weston;  three brothers, Earl Drake, Darwin Drake and James Drake;  two sisters, Louise Underwood and Belinda Peterson, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Services were held Monday, October 16, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Robert Simons Funeral Home.  Burial was held in the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Robert Simons Funeral Home.
