  Dorothy Ruth Braden

  The memorial service for Dorothy Ruth Braden will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Perl Siskiyou Funeral Home in Medford.

  Mrs. Braden, 71, of Medford, died Wednesday (June 12, 2002) at her home after a long illness.



  She was born Feb. 8, 1931, in Henryetta, Okla., to William Farrer and Willie Hedrick. On Sept. 10, 1947, in Quartzsite,

  Ariz., she married Robert Glen Braden, and they lived in Pomona, Calif., until 1972 when they moved to Cave Junction.

  They later divorced.



   Braden enjoyed living in the Medford area in her later years, collecting coffee cups from around the world, cooking and

  spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.



  Survivors include two sons, Gary Lee, Medford, and Larry Glen, Montrose, Colo.; a brother, Calvin Farrer, Coeur d’Alene,

  Idaho; two sisters, Millie St. John, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Betty Bowen, Ontario, Calif.; and her grandchildren.
