During her final days she was cared for in her home by her loving family with assistance from YRMC Home Care and Hospice of Yuma. Dolores was born in Henryetta, OK on November 14, 1932. She spent her childhood in Globe, AZ and in her pre-teens moved to Antioch, CA, where she graduated from Antioch High School in 1951. After "putting hubby through college" in Berkeley, CA, we moved to the San Jose, CA area and she became a homemaker for her family. One of her greatest pleasures was being with family and friends, especially cooking a favorite meal. We also enjoyed family vacations at the beach and in the mountains. After our children married and left home she attended De Anza College. She also became interested in oil painting and became an accomplished artist. She was active in the New Community of Faith Church in San Jose, CA. After my retirement we became Snowbirds and wintered in Yuma, AZ and travelled in the summer. Soon we became permanent residents of Yuma, but still travelled in the summer, and then we lived in Yuma year-round with short trips to more temperate climates. Dolores is survived by her husband, Sam Ehrlich, her daughters, Linda Valentine and Barbara Garcia, her grandchildren, Ian Valentine, Shara Ehrlich, Bridgid Garcia and Kirsten Garcia, her parents, Lillian and Roy Mohr, and her brother, Bob Marglin. Dolores will be interred with her mother at the Byron-Brentwood-Knightson Union Cemetery, 11545 Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, CA 94509 on July 9, 2004 at 2pm. Following the service there will be a potluck picnic to celebrate her life at her brother's house in Antioch, CA.
