Tony was a farmer before he worked as a horse trainer for Baker Dairy for a few years. He enjoyed in carpentry and building homes and was also a superior cabinet maker. He retired and loved to play golf, gardening, yard care and playing with his grandchildren. On August 27, 1949, he married Wanda Henderson in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In 1986, Tony built Zoe Life Church next to their home which he pastured for eight years. He was a great witness and led many to Christ. He and Wanda lived in this area all their lives. Tony moved from his earthly home to his eternal home on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the age of 77. He leaves a beloved wife, Wanda of 56 ½ years with many cherished memories; Sons: William Steve Fleetwood of Tulsa; Timothy W. Fleetwood and wife, Julie of Claremore; Grandchildren: Amanda Fleetwood of Tulsa and T.J. Fleetwood of Claremore; Great Grandchildren: Gabriel Jacob Grass and Hannah Paige Grass; Sisters: Alice (Sis) Harper of Tulsa and Betty Jo Bright of Modesto, CA; a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters: Fred L. Fleetwood, Sr.; Nora (Bake) Combs; Agnes (Tuck) Fleetwood Moore; Carl Morris Fleetwood; Roscoe Ernest Fleetwood and Elise Fleetwood Reynolds. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the New Beginnings Church of God with Reverend Raymond Doke officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the building fund of “New Beginnings” Church of God at 13040 Celia Berrryhill Road Okmulgee, Ok 74447, which he built in 1986. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mickey, Jimmy, T.J. and Sonny Fleetwood; Frank Moore; Bob Casey and Oscar Brownfield. Arrangement are under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
