Bill V. Frey, CPA, 80, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church. Inurnment: Holy Apostles Episcopal Columbarium. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kiwanis Services Foundation, P.O. Box 123828, Fort Worth, Texas 76121. Bill was born March 17, 1925, in Okmulgee, Okla. He had degrees from The University of Texas and TCU. He served as senior warden and treasurer of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church. He was a member of Kiwanis with perfect attendance for over 25 years. He served as president of his club and lieutenant governor of the Texas Oklahoma District. Bill also served on the Fort Worth Board of Adjustments. As a CPA, he served as president of the National Association of Accountants and was a member of the Fort Worth chapter of CPAs, Texas Society and National Association of Accountants. He was a self- employed CPA. Prior to that he worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, New York and Chicago, Ill. He retired as a commander in the U.S. Navy, where he was head of his Naval air intelligence unit in New York. Survivors: Wife, Barbara; sons, Kerry Frey and wife, Carol, of Fort Worth and Patrick Frey and wife, Christi, of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Marianne Goen and husband, Paul, of Belton, Susan Myers and husband, Johnny, of Mabelton, Ga., and Holly Yates and husband, Chris, of Dallas; sisters, Carol Gunn and husband, Bill, of Everman and Betty Naler and husband, Lawrence, of Springfield, Va.; grandchildren, Corey, Amber, Lauren, Matthew, Andrew, Ellie, Sydney, Julia and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
