All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mount Olivet Cemetery--Ft Worth TX Goodman, Lloyd 1922 - 2004 Lloyd Goodman, 82, a retired contractor, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2004. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel with Mr. Jack Orbison officiating. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Lloyd Goodman was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Beggs, Okla. After high school graduation he went to trade school and was certified as a mechanic and welder. Lloyd then met the love of his life, Jewell Reynolds. They were later married April 14, 1942, in Long Beach, Calif. and had a long and loving marriage for 62 years. After moving to Fort Worth, he became a contractor and later designed and created silver jewelry. Lloyd was a member of the Birdville church of Christ, where he served as deacon, elder and teacher for many years and always put Christ first in his life. Lloyd was a very giving man and spent most of his lifetime in service to others. He was greatly loved by his numerous friends and family members. Survivors: Wife, Jewell Goodman; son, Ron Goodman and wife, Becky; daughter, Gloria Cooper and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Jason Goodman and Shantelle Goodman; three brothers; one sister; and a host of other relatives and friends.
