She was born Thursday, September 7, 1950 to Colon and Allene (Spidel) Combs in Kansas City, Missouri. Kay attended Arkansas State University and she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her father, Colon Combs and brother, Colon Combs, Jr. Survivors include: her husband, Mike Guynes of the home; mother Allene Combs of Eudora, Missouri; three sons, Joe May and wife, Karmen of Henryetta, Billy Guynes and wife, Maggie of Morris and Jeremy Roberts and wife, Guyla of Henryetta; two daughters, Lisa Thompson and husband, Jimmy Dale and Kathy Jo Guynes all of Henryetta; three sisters, Wanda Sanchez and husband, Moises of Okmulgee, Barbara Combs of Henryetta and Sherry Combs of Michigan; three brothers, Doug Combs and wife, Barbie and Paul Combs all of Missouri and Gerald McClain of Michigan and thirteen grandchildren. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church in Okmulgee with Reverend John Wesley Berry and Reverend Dustin Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Nick Burks, Brent Bailey, Curtis Sharp, Mike Finch, Nick Jukich and Chris Guynes. The Grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
