	Alyce Haslett, 61, a former resident of 

Okmulgee, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in 

Tulsa. She was born Tuesday, May 16, 1944 to 

Bud and Marjorie J. (Cook) Mitchell in Tulsa, 

Oklahoma. 

	

     She was preceded in death by her mother 

and step-father: Marj and Mitchell Collins. 

	

     Survivors include: one son: Doug Haslett 

and wife, Lisa of Tulsa; five grandchildren: Dallas 

and Alizabeth Haslett; Tonya, Kym and Tara Burns 

and numerous in-laws and friends. 

	

     Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. 

Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Okmulgee Cemetery 

with Reverend John Glover officiating. Burial will 

follow the service under the direction of the 

Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. 

	

     Honorary Pallbearers will be Dave Miller, 

John Hunter, Robert Gerred, Blake Vanderpool, 

Brad Vanderpool and Jay Vanderpool. 

	

     Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 a.m. 

to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee.
