All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oakmont Memorial Park--Lafayette CA Kenney Henley Kenney Henley, Concord resident and a native of Henryetta, Oklahoma, died peacefully at the age of 85 on December 7. He was married for 61 years to his beloved wife, Eva Jo. Kenney was a decent, kind and gentle man. A demolition contractor by trade, Kenney took great pleasure in fishing and hunting with his sons and his friends. He was a deacon of the Free Will Baptist Church in Antioch for 29 years. Kenney was the dear father of sons, Gary Henley (Sue) of Clayton, Bob Henley (Lois) of Clayton, and Joe Henley (Monica) of Alamo, and daughters, Judy Henley of Concord, and Sue (Norm) Joyal of Concord. He is also survived by his sisters, Mildred of Oklahoma and Jackie of Livermore. Kenney and Eva Jo shared their wedding with his sister, Geneva, and her husband, Boyd, of Livermore, who also survive him. "Grandpa Henley" was the adored grandfather of Laura, Chet, Alana, Elane, Sandy, Paula, Alexis, Marissa, Aaron, Ariel, Alexandria, Kenney, Kyle and Kristin, and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie. Viewing is Tuesday, December 13, from 4:00 - 8:00 at Wilson and Kratzer, 825 Hartz Way in Danville. Services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 11:00 at the Rolling Hills Community Church, 1565 Green Valley Rd., Danville. Interment will be at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette. Contributions are preferred to Children's Hospital Foundation, 747 52nd St., Oakland 94609.
