HENRY Bertie Nahoma Henry, 90 of Henryetta died Oct, 7, 2000. She was born Nov. 1, 1909 in Salem, Ark., to William R. Sturkie and Ollie Wood. She was married to Clarence M. Henry on Oct 1, 1929 in Oklahoma. She was a cook for several business. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Maxine Gilbert, Ida Files and Billye Kranz and a grandson, Gregg Phillips. She was a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Doris Jean Phillips and husband Carthol of Henryetta; a son, Philip Dean Henry of Tulsa; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m., at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Pallbearers will be four great-grandsons, Jeff Kelley and Tyler Phillips and Logan Slape along with Richard Williams and Sonny Been. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
