SONYA MARIE HIGGINS

 

Sonya Marie Higgins,  57, died Wednesday at the home in Bartlesville.  She was born on December 29, 1942 

in Okmulgee to Clarence U. and Mildred (Bumpas) Evans.

 

She attended the University of Oklahoma an graduated as a speech therapist.  She married 

Brian J. Higgins in 1971 at Kansas City, Missouri.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

 

Survivors include:  her husband, Brian J. Higgins of Bartlesville;  and one daughter, 

Shannon Durden of Little Rock. Arkansas.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 30, 2000 in the Stumpff Funeral Home 

Chapel with Father Robert J. Gates Jr. Chaplain of the Jane Phillips Medical Center officiating.  

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.
