Elijah Khirique Francis-Hill, born October 15, 2006 to Kasara Marie Francis and 

Zacharey Page Hill in Okmulgee.



Elijah became one of God’s smallest angels in the early morning hours and left behind 

to mourn his passing not only his loving parents, Kasara and Zach, but also a host of 

family including: great grandparents Charlene Wilson of Enterprise, Oklahoma, Silvia 

Arterberry of Port Angeles, Washington, Melba and Jack Wallace of Dustin, Oklahoma, 

Christine and Benjamin Harjo of Salem, Oklahoma and Claudette and Peter Lawrence of 

East Hartford, Connecticut, grandparents Connie and Manuel Marez of Hanna, Oklahoma 

Joseph Arterberry Topeka, Kansas and Sonny Harjo of Dustin, Oklahoma, aunts and uncles 

include Crystal and Jeff Burr of Hanna, Oklahoma, William and Tera Francis of Checotah, 

Oklahoma, Jomea Francis, Jessica Fields, Jeremy Fields and Roberto Marez of Hanna, Oklahoma, 

Kira Harjo of Dustin, Oklahoma and Clinton and Patricia Dougar of Beggs, Oklahoma. Cousins 

include Jaiden Francis, Jade and Jadi Burr and Lily Cook of Hanna, Oklahoma, Anthony Fixico 

of Okmulgee and Kierstin and Bailie Dougar of Beggs, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives.



Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Vernon Community Center in Vernon, 

Oklahoma at 1 PM. Elder Herman Huffman will officiate. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee on 

Wednesday, 5 to 7 PM.
