He was born August 31, 1916 in Klondike, TX to Jody and Arlenia Brigham of Okmulgee. He attended the CME Methodist Church in Okmulgee and attended Okmulgee Public Schools. he was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy of which most of his service time was spent in Bremerton, WA. He married Alice Turner on June 13, 1945 and adopted her three children, Doris, Yvonne and Edward Thomas. he worked in housing and commercial construction before retiring. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 1202. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, two brothers, Jodie and Voreese, and son Edward. He is survived by two daughters, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19 at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa. Arrangements are under the direction of Jack's Memory Chapel of Tulsa.
