JOHNSON James W. Johnson, 69, a resident of Eufaula died at his home on Oct. 9,2000. He was born Aug. 18, 1931 in Morris to Elmer and Jewell (Chrysler) Thompson Johnson. He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Army. he was married to Mary Johnson Trout on Jan. 21, 1992 in Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Floyd Thompson and one sister, Loretta. Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; three daughters, Gail Fendley of Colorado, Vicki Davis of Okmulgee and Jeannie Briones and husband Johnny of Luther, Okla.; five brothers and their wives, Eddie and Sally Johnson of Edmond, Manson Thompson of Tulsa, and Donnie and Arnette Thompson of Okmulgee, Harvey and Debbie Thompson of Okmulgee and John Wayne and Aree Thompson of Tahlequah; two sisters, Zilah and Terry Murray and Jo and Coy Vinson, all of Okmulgee; stepchildren, Georgia and David Boss of Okmulgee, Starr and Perry Bedford of California, Trishia and David Bush of Elgin, Okla., Ron and Kathy Siedlik, Joseph and Peggy Siedlik and Michael Siedlik, all of Okmulgee; 31 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct 12 at 10:00 a.m., at the Northern Lights Tabernacle Church with Rev. Raymond Shann officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. under direction of the McClendon Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 19 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
