She passed away July 21, 2006 at Hot Springs, Arkansas at the age of 90 years 7 months and 9 days. She was married to Preston W. Jones at Hennepin, Oklahoma on June 13, 1936. She was a nurse for many years working in Pryor Hospital, Veterans Hospital in Sulphur, as well as other institutions. She was an excellent seamstress doing many alterations for people all around the area. She was a faithful member of Dewar United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther & Myrtle Walker, 3 sisters: Nona Price, Verbel Hargis, & Nell Thomas, 2 brothers: Frank Walker & Orville Walker, 1 granddaughter: Katie Warner. She is survived by 4 Sons: H. Dwaine Jones, Nashville, Tennessee, Jimmie Jones & wife Frances, Henryetta, Oklahoma Bernard Jones, Austin, Texas, Derrell Jones, Nashville, Tennessee 12 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, & 1 Great Great Grandson 2 Sisters, Marie Thomas & husband Paul, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Reba Reeve & husband Clifford, Okmulgee, Oklahoma 1 Brother, James Walker & wife Betty, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas As well as a host of friends, other relatives, and her beloved church family Pallbearers will be her four sons and two grandsons: H. Dwaine Jones, Jimmie Jones, Bernard Jones, Derrell Jones, Greg Jones, and Jason Jones. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Matthew Martin. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
