	Leota M. Keaton, 88, a resident of Okmulgee, 

died Thursday, December 8, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

She was born Friday, January 5, 1917 to Silas and Flossie 

(Rhodes) Morse in Arkansas. 

	

	She was preceded in death by her husband, George 

Lester Keaton in 1978. 

	

	Survivors include: two daughters: Stephanie “Taffy” 

Keaton and Mischelle Keaton both of Tulsa and three 

grandchildren: Kimberly Dawn, Jeffrey Michael and Lyndsey 

Nicole Hudson. 

	

	Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 

December 13, 2005 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend 

Everett Lerch officiating. Burial will follow the service 

under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home 

of Okmulgee.
