Mr. Kelley was born Monday, November 5, 1945 to T.B. and Eula (Matthews) Kelley. He spoke often of his football days at Wilson and Okmulgee Schools and the lifetime friends he made during those times. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1964. In 1971, he and Liz, on a double dare, went on a date that resulted in 34 happy years of marriage. They went on to have 4 children that were the heart and soul of Kenneth. He spent his years teaching them to hunt and fish and to love life. His first and last priority was always his family. Kenneth was preceded in death by his dad, T.B. Kelley; mom, Eula Kelley and brother, Calvin Kelley. He is survived by his wife, Liz Kelley of the home; daughter, Lisa and husband, Tim Williams and their children, Kelley, Tyler, Kenzie, Kaylee and twins, Cody and Kaitlyn of Okmulgee; son, Pat Kelley and wife, Stacie and their children, Mallory, Shelby, Tatum and Dallas of Ft. Smith; sons: Bo and Jeff Kelley of Okmulgee; brother, Overton Kelley of Okmulgee and sisters, Wanda Fleming, Patsy Dickinson of Okmulgee and Betty Hedrick of Lindsay. He also leaves a host of many relatives and friends that were very special to him. Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Brian Caldwell officiating and the eulogy by Bobby Hardridge. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Doyle Criner, Chipper Baughman, Bobby Micheau, Paul LeGrand, Fred Dixon and Larnell Stokely. Honorary Pallbearers are Coy Lewis, Jimmy Whitman, Bobby Hardridge and Jim Taylor. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kelley Chapel.
