He was born January 11, 1909 to Daniel and Sarah Rose (Watson) Loague in Woodward, Oklahoma. He came to Morris with his family in 1912 and had resided here since. He married Jewell Francis Kuhn on October 18, 1935 in Okmulgee. She preceded him in death on October 9, 1988. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Morris and the Morris Masonic Lodge. He had worked for many years in the oilfields of Okmulgee and surrounding counties, working for R. B. Pugh and Dr. Watson. Mr. Loague is survived by his daughter, Joy and husband Stan Austin of Jenks, a grandson and wife, Jim and Cindy Marshall of Stillwater, granddaughter and husband , Joni and Mark Floyd of Coppell, Texas, a granddaughter, Lizabeth Austin of Bailey, Colorado, great grandchildren, Jenna Jordan and Jake Floyd of Coppell, Texas, a brother and wife, Avery and Marie Loague of Broken Arrow and many nieces and nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 4, 2000 at the First United Methodist Church of Morris with the Reverend Gary O. Wilborn officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery with Kenny Hager, Abe Davis, Stan Gale, Tom Gale, Dan Boydston, and Jerry Holland serving as Casketbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home in Morris from 11-8 pm, Tuesday. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church of Morris in the care of the funeral home.
