Sylvia Alberta Lundegreen

Sylvia Alberta Lundegreen, 84, of Amarillo died Friday, Oct. 31, 
2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral 
Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. James Garten, 
pastor of Pavillard Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in 
Llano Cemetery.

Sylvia Whipple Lundegreen was born on March 31, 1919, in Kusa, Okla. 
She married V.E. Lundegreen on March 5, 1935.

She was a nurse, working in labor and delivery for Northwest Texas 
Hospital for 21 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in 
Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include a son, Don Lundegreen and wife, Lyndel, of 
Amarillo; five grandchildren, Don Lundegreen Jr., Monte Lundegreen 
and wife, Kathy, Cindy Smith and husband, Greg, Teresa Bates and 
husband, Allen, and Leslie Bigham and husband, Troy; nine great-
grandchildren, Marcus, Brandon and Brandy Lundegreen, Trevor and 
Sasha Smith, Lundy and Katlin Bates, and Courtney and Allison Bigham; 
and a sister, Wilma Majors of Alta Loma, Calif.
