Elizabeth Wynne Macklin

1922 - 2006





Elizabeth Wynne Macklin passed away on October 4, 2006 at the age of 84. Elizabeth was 

born on April 29, 1922 at Morris, OK, to parents Robert “Bert” C. Wynne and Mae Edwards 

Wynne. Until retirement she was a homemaker and substitute teacher, also employed by 

Amoco. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.



Surviving are a son, Gordon Macklin and wife Monica of Ft. Gibson; grandchildren, Lory Oller, 

Sara Walsh, S. T. Macklin, great-grandchildren, Jack Walsh, Rob Walsh, Riley Oller. She was 

preceded in death by her parents; much adored husband, Sidney Thomas Macklin.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Moore’s Rosewood Chapel, 

2570 S. Harvard. Interment will be in the Okmuglee Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK. Moore’s Rosewood 

Chapel. 744-1202.
