Surnames: Mann Jordan Hamilton Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UaB.2ACI/1189 Mildred Catherine Mann Services for Mildred Catherine Mann, 85, Shawnee, were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur with Dr. Brad Ransom officiating. Interment was in Drake Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born January 3, 1920 in Dewar to Jonathon David Jordan and Arlie Hamilton Jordan, she died Tuesday, March 15 in Sulphur. She married Haldene Mann on January 24, 1942 at Edinburg, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1976. She grew up in Porum and graduated from Porum High School. She lived in Sulphur for many years before moving to Oklahoma City in 1967. While there she worked as a cook at Dotson's Cafeteria until her retirement in 1986. After retiring, she moved to Shawnee. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dean Digby, Davis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Nona Mann, Dougherty and Jerry and Jolene Mann, Sulphur; four brothers, Fred Jordan, Muskogee, Frank Jordan, Shawnee, Chuck Jordan, Muskogee and Kenneth Jordan, Martinez, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Murphy, Porum and Muriel Dillon, Riverbank, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends, Gladys Ellington, Mable Chancellor, Vista Mays and Sue Riedel, all of Shawnee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a sister, Frances and brother, Joe.
