Catherine B. Martin passed from this life into eternal 

glory on Thursday, September 22, 2005 in Okmulgee at the 

age of 97 years, 9 months and 27 days. She was born Monday, 

November 25, 1907 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and 

Bernice Sales. 

	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Simon 

A. Martin, five brothers: Michael, Tony, Edward, Joseph and 

Barney and four sisters: Mary, Florence, Irene and Josephine. 

	Survivors include: son: Jim Martin and wife, Donna of 

Okmulgee; sister: Helen Cichocki of Milford, MI; four grandchildren 

and five great grandsons. 

	Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

	Memorials, in her name, may be sent to St. Anthony’s 

Catholic Church 515 S. Morton Ave. Okmulgee, Ok 74447.

	The family wishes to thank the staff at Rebold Manor for 

their loving care. 

	Arrangements were made by the Shurden-Kelley Funeral 

Home of Okmulgee.
