Louis Edward  McBride



1944 ~ 2006





 

Louis Edward "Eddie" McBride, a resident of Henryetta was born 

February 7, 1944 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Miriam and Louis Elliott McBride.  (This is a Typo Elliot should read ELEC)

He passed away June 9, 2006 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 62 years 4 months and 2 days.  

He was a Truck Driver with the Sitton Motor Lines, Inc. based in Joplin, Missouri.  

Eddie had logged over 2 million miles and received Driver of the Year for 2005. 

He served in the United States Army National Guard. 

He was preceded in death by his father & 1 daughter: Jeanetta Marie McBride.







He is survived by his Wife,  Ruby McBride, of the home

1 Daughter,  Tia Fish & husband Rick, San Antonio, Texas

1 Son,  David Kovash & wife Debbie, Henryetta

3 Grandchildren His Mother,  Miriam McBride, Idabel, Oklahoma

2 Brothers,  Elwood McBride & wife Marcella, Idabel, Oklahoma

Dwight McBride & wife Darla, Oklahoma City

1 Sister, Synovia Lemmings, Cordell, Oklahoma

As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives







Viewing for Mr. McBride will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.







Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Shurden Chapel with 

Rev. Wesley VanMeter, officiating. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery under direction of 

Shurden Funeral Home.
