McGhee, Everett

Everett RM McGhee Sept. 21, 1925 - Nov. 21, 2006 Everett was born 
Sept. 21, 1925 in Henryetta, OK and has lived in the Bakersfield area 
for approximately 65 years. He is survived by son, Everett II, 7 
Grandchildren: Kelly in Arizona, Sandy, Tim, Everett III From 
Oklahoma and Cindy, Jarvis and Tracy in California, and 11 Great-
Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Greatgranddaughter. Everett was the owner 
of the Western Store Chaparral in the Valley Plaza in the late 1960's 
thru the early 1980's. He was an active member of the Am. Quarter 
horse Association as an Owner and Breeder and a member of the AQHA 
Racing Association. Everett also a member of the VFW Post #97 located 
on So. Union Avenue and Honorably Discharged After Serving in WWII 
The Army. Visitation for Everett will be held at Kern River Family 
Mortuary Chapel 1900 N. Chester Ave, on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006 from 4-
8 PM and Graveside Service will Be held on Saturday Nov. 25, 2006 at 
1:00 PM at Union Cemetery. Kern River Family Mortuary - Oildale
