JACOB E. NUNN SR.

 

Jacob Edmon Nunn Sr., 78 of Coalton died in Henryetta on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000.  He was born July 3, 1922 at Checotah to John and Pearl (Cobstill)Nunn.

 

He married Sarah Elizabeth Bozarth on June 2, 1948.  He retired from the Schulter School System in 1984.  He was preceded in death by his parents;  his wife; one brother, Thad Nunn; and one sister, Nina Shiveley.

 

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob E. and Rita Nunn of Schulter and Samuel W. and Sharon Nunn of Coalton;  two brothers, Tom and June Nunn of Ryal and Frank Ima Nunn of Henryetta;  one sister, Helen and Richard Brady of Sand Springs;  seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Morris Cemetery with Diane Phillips officiating.

 

Visitation will be at the McClendon Funeral Home in Okmulgee from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday.
