Quesenbury, 51, a former resident of Okmulgee, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in Grapevine, Texas. He was born on Sunday, July 4, 1954 to Elton Gene and Violet (Wilson) Quesenbury in Morris, Oklahoma. Phillip received his Associates Degree of Applied Science in HVAC from OSU Technical School in Okmulgee. He moved to Grapevine, Texas in April of 1986. He was employed at the Crescent in Dallas, Horn/Barow Company of Dallas and Mid America Apt. Communities Boulder Ridge Apartments in Roanoke, Texas. He loved Nascar Racing and was a collector of Die Cast Model Cars, which he built. He was an avid Rock and Roll fan. Phil loved riding his Harley Davidson, riding free in the wind with his “baby” on the back. Phillip was very active with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He made people laugh, he found humor in every situation, people who met him fell in love with him. Phillip had a positive attitude, he was optimistic and always saw the glass as half full. He was the life of the party. Phillip was preceded in death by his brother, David Quesenbury; father, Elton Gene Quesenbury; grandparents, Othel and Ruby Wilson, Mae and Sylvester Miller. Survivors include: his wife, Ellen Quesenbury of Keller, TX; daughter: Kristi Robinson and husband, Justin of Keller, TX; son: Matthew Quesenbury of Keller, TX; grandchildren: Cole, Beau, Dane, Rebecca and Matthew Jr.; brothers: Mark Quesenbury and wife, Teressa of Tulsa; John Quesenbury and wife, Dawn of Okmulgee; sisters: Nancy Miller and husband, Fred of Denison, TX; Mary Russell of Sand Springs; mother, Violet (Jackie) Day of Beggs; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee. Burial will follow the service at the Morris Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
