	Betty Lou Reeves, 81, a resident of Okmulgee, 

died Sunday, March 12, 2006 in Okmulgee. She was born 

Friday, March 28, 1924 to Roy and Treasure (Featherston) 

Montgomery in Haskell, Oklahoma. On October 6, 1992, 

she married Glenn Reeves in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Schulter, 

Oklahoma. 

	

      She was preceded in death by her first husband, 

Eldridge Been in 1988 and one daughter: Sandra Been Harris 

in 1976. 

	

      Survivors include: husband: Glenn Reeves of Okmulgee; 

one daughter: Patsy Graham and husband, Kenneth of Branson, 

MO; two step children: Sharon Bergevin and husband, Bob of 

Morris and Dan Reeves and wife, Brenda of Bryan, CA; four 

grandchildren; three step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 

ten step great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and 

many other relatives and friends. 

	

      Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 

2006 at the Schulter First Baptist Church with Reverend 



George Christy officiating. Burial will follow the service at 

the Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley 

Funeral Home of Okmulgee. 

	

Mrs. Reeves nephews will serve as pallbearers.
