Nuel Sanders

DUMAS -  96, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Directors 
Memorial Chapel with the Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired pastor of 
Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn 
Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Sanders was born in Abenton, Mo., and was a resident of Moore 
County since 1933. He married Ada Alice Piland in 1924 at Henryetta, 
Okla.

Mr. Sanders was an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a 32nd 
degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1989; and a daughter, Wanda 
McGechie in 1983.

Survivors include a son, Nuel E. Sanders of Phoenix; a daughter, 
Lavern Smith of Pharr; a sister, Floy Brewer of San Angelo; eight 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Memorial Nursing and Rehab 
Center, 224 E. Second, Dumas 79029.

The family will be at 923 Binkley, Dumas.
