Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 3601 Altamesa Blvd. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Davis Chapel, 6912 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills. Vigil: 7 p.m. Memorials: American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. Helen Lucille Scheirmann was a parishoner of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and a resident of Vega Place retirement community for the past 21 years. She held many offices in the association and dearly loved all her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis H.Scheirmann Sr.; grandson, Marty Lacy; beloved daughter, Judy Lacy; brothers, Bob, Herbert and Glenn Bowling; and sister, Dorothy Wilson. She was a 54-year member of the Catholic Daughters and VFW Auxiliary #1189 in Okmulgee, Okla. She held many offices in both organizations. She was also public relations chairman for State and National Catholic Daughters. She served as a Red Cross entertainment director for Muskogee Okla. Vet. Hospital and was a member of Committee for Official Political Education (C.O.P.E.) Survivors: Son, Francis Scheirmann and wife, Patsy; brothers, Donald Bowling of Broken Arrow, Okla., Ray Bowling of Stamford, Conn., Clarence Bowling of Beckley, W. Va.; sisters, Rosa Lee Gabbe of Vienna, Va., and Libby Bowling of Beckley, W. Va.; granddaughters, Judi Knight, Janet and husband, William July, Dianne Moreau and husband, Steve, Angie Scheirmann, Carolyn Scheirmann, Deidra Martin and husband, Joe; grandsons, Cody and Shawn Thomas; great- grandchildren, Heather Brubeck and husband, Mark, Michael, Matthew and Danny Knight, Sarah, Lauren and Garrett Moreau, Lane Atherton, Raelynn Keck, Rachel Scheirmann, Taylor and Ethan Thomas.
