File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: This file was contributed by: Darlene Scott < > ==================================================================== November 1963 Death Notice - Walter Vinyard Sharp Funeral services were held Tuesday, 2 p. m. for Walter Vineyard Sharp. 55 at the First Baptist Church who died Saturday at the University Hospital, Oklahoma City, son of Ida and John Doss Sharp. Born in Cedarville Ark. Mr. Sharp had made his home at 502 S. 1st in Morris since 1930. He was on oil field worker in the employ of W. S. Bogie and Sons. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Arizona Williams Sharp of the the home. A son, Floyd Sharp of Morris; two daughters, Mrs. Magnolia Bohard, Los Alamos, Calf., and Mrs. Modene Jackson, Morris three sisters, Viola Sharp, Minnie Sharp, Dara Sharp, three brothers, Henry Houston Sharp and Paul "Pete" Sharp and William R. Sharp all from Muldrow Oklahoma, seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Glenn Moore, Art Bogie, Dale Kinser, Floyd Gale Sr., Gloyd Gale Jr, and George Mostinger. Honorary Pallbearers were John Lawrence, Bill Dobson, Eule Blount, Cecil Blount, Frank Lock, and W. L. Gentry. Rev. Alva Hill Of Morris Assembly of God Church officiated. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery under the direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home. Note: Odd Fellows cemetery name has changed to the Morris Cemetery, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.
