ALBERT SIMON

 

Albert  "Son" Simon, 69, of Okmulgee died Oct. 25, 2000 in a Tulsa hospital.  he was born April 11, 1931 in Okmulgee to Gid and Roberta  (Cobray) Simon.

 

He grew up and attended school in Pumpkin Center,  a settlement near Morris and attended Antioch School  he later moved to Omaha, Neb.., where he remained until the past year.  he was a laborer.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Azzie L. Simon, his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

 

Survivors include a daughter, Lorraine Hill of Okmulgee;  two sisters, Shirley Wilson and Cleo Simon, both of Okmulgee;  three grandchildren;  three great-grandchildren and a host of others relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services are pending with the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc. of Okmulgee
