 Bart Smith, 76, a resident of Morris, died Monday, 
December 12, 2005 in Okmulgee. He was born Friday, 
December 21, 1928 to Clarence and Gladys (Keiser) Smith 
in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Trinity 
Baptist Church in Morris. 
	
      He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: 
Buster Smith and two sisters: Bernice Miner and JoDean Bemis. 
	
      Survivors include: one sister: Rose Zella Lane and husband, 
James H. of Council Hill; two brothers: Ira W. Smith and Nancy 
of Morris; Wiley Edmonds and wife, Sue of Double Oak, Texas; 
Cecil Edmonds and wife, Dorothy of Morris and numerous 
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 
	
      Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 
2005 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Morris with Reverend 
David Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow the service at
 the Morris Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley 
Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
  
	Pallbearers will be Bart Smith’s nephews and Honorary 

Pallbearers will be the Trinity Baptist Church Mens Bible Class. 
	
      Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee.
