Richard Thomas Smith, 73, a resident of Oracle, Arizona 

and a former resident of Okmulgee, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 

in Arizona. He was born Monday, January 30, 1933 to Hugh Calvin 

and Mary Frances (Yankee) Smith in Okmulgee County, 

Oklahoma. 

	

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: 

Jim Smith. 

	

Survivors include: one brother: Calvin Smith of Harrison, Montana; 

two sisters: Vivian Burke of Helena, Montana and Marianne 

Harned of Okmulgee; one sister-in-law: Margaret Costello of 

Okmulgee and numerous nieces and nephews. 

	

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 

at the Kelley Chapel in Okmulgee with Reverend Charlie Green 

officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery 

under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
